MAN Digital Hub | Lisbon The MAN Digital Hub in Lisbon is part of Volkswagen Digital Solutions and, together with MAN Truck & Bus SE, develops and shapes the future of commercial vehicles by driving digitalization in this market. We are looking for a passionate Software Developer to join us and together with our international teams build the mobility vision of tomorrow.
What you will do...
Understand software design on a micro and macro level;
Are aware of SOLID principles and follow Clean Code principles;
Pro-actively automate testing of the code you write;
Have knowledge of microservices and event driven principles;
Understand principles around security, logging and monitoring running products;
Know why building pipelines and automation are crucial nowadays, and how this ties up to the agile mindset and practices;
Prefer to work in small increments, with very short feedback loops, iterating often;
Enjoy frequent collaboration, because together we're stronger and more resilient.
Main requirements
You have the following qualifications…
Bachelor's degree in IT and / or comparable job expertise;
Good English skills, both written and spoken;
Willingness to work in an agile setup, to think outside the box and to help overcome roadblocks;
Ability to solve problems in a creative way with high awareness for quality;
Result-oriented and communicative team player.
