Job Role: AC & RefrigerationTechnician

Due to thecurrent VISA RESTRICTIONS only candidates from within the UAE witha current UAE Residence Visa can be considered for thisvacancy 

AnAC & Refrigerator Technician is responsible for maintainingall refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment and installationsin good working condition by carrying out necessary repairs andpreventive maintenance.

As an AC &Refrigerator Technician, you are responsible for performing thefollowing tasks to the highest standards: Reports to the TechnicalSupervisor daily work progress and trouble reportcompletion.

• Attains allrefrigeration and A/C trouble reports on daily basis. Guest roomtrouble is given priority
• Works closely withTechnical Supervisor and peers to carry out preventive maintenanceand annual maintenance program
• Follows allsafety rules and regulations in job, departmental procedures andinstructions
• Carries out all other tasksassigned to him by his supervisor

In addition to performance of the essential functions,this position may be required to perform a combination of thefollowing supportive functions, with the percentage of timeperforming each function to be solely determined by the supervisorbased upon the particular requirements of the company.

• Able to read Building, Air-conditioning,Refrigeration and Electrical drawings
• Able tofault find and repair air-conditioning, refrigeration and buildingcontrol systems. Good electrical knowledge
• Knowledge of BMS systems. - Experience of reciprocatingChillers and Air handling plant and cold rooms
• Familiar with planned Preventive Maintenance and Safetyprogrammes
• Flexible and team player– able to work on own initiative
• Good understanding of water treatment techniques and ableto handle chemicals
• Makes periodic inspectiontours to check all refrigeration equipment functioningproperly
• Carries out guest room maintenanceaccording to schedule programme
• Works closelywith electrician to carry out electrical work when required,including functions and parties
• Dailyrefrigeration log sheet to be filled and temperature to berecorded
• Works closely with peers to assist intheir job when requested by supervisor
• Keepsall necessary tools in good working condition, keep their workingplace neat and clean
• Attains all departmentalmeetings and training classes

Tosuccessfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude,behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

• Minimum 5 years air-conditioning or refrigerationinstallation or maintenance experience in Industrial/CommercialProjects
• Good all round practical trade skillsinclusive fabrication, installation and maintenance
• Preferable apprentice time service candidate

It would be advantageous in this position foryou to demonstrate the following capabilities anddistinctions:

• Hotels-Hospitalsexperience
