Job Role: Stewarding Supervisor

AStewarding Supervisor is responsible for supervising the Stewardsto deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience whilesupporting the overall operations.
As aStewarding Supervisor, you are responsible for supervising theStewards and supporting the team members to deliver an excellentGuest and Team Member experience. A Stewarding Supervisor will alsobe required to coordinate other responsibilities, make certain Backof House areas are maintained, and ensure that health and safetyare top priorities. Specifically, you will be responsible forperforming the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Supervise the Stewards ensuring highstandards
- Support the Team Members in trainingand development
- Coordinate the daily pot-washand dish wash responsibilities
- Ensure Back ofHouse areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards andcleaning schedules are followed and completed
- Observe Health, Hygiene and Safety guidelines whenhandling hazardous substances and comply with all aspects of Healthand Safety requirements
- Report faults, misusedor damaged equipment issues to the Managers, Executive Chef, and/orChief Engineering
- Ensure the correct PPE is inplace and guidelines are adhered to
- Ensuremachinery is operated properly, efficiently, safely and inaccordance with the hotel's Health and SafetyManual
- Assist in the location, movement andstorage of operational equipment
- Assist in thestock take of equipment and other items as required
- Ensure team members adhere to all Health and Safety andHygiene Regulations
- Carry out any otherreasonable task set by the Hotel's Management

It would beadvantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the followingcapabilities and distinctions:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Previous experience of supervisory role
