Job Role: Junior SousChef

A Junior Sous Chef is responsible forcontributing to menu creation and managing and training the kitchenbrigade to deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experiencewhile managing food cost controls.

As a JuniorSous Chef, you are responsible for contributing to menu creationand managing and training the kitchen brigade to deliver anexcellent Guest and Member experience. A Junior Sous Chef will alsobe required to manage food cost controls. Specifically, you will beresponsible for performing the following tasks to the higheststandards:

• Contribute to menucreation
• Manage and train the kitchen brigadeeffectively to ensure a well-organised and motivatedteam
• Ensure consistency in quality of dishesat all times
• Manage customer relations whennecessary, in the absence of the Sous Chef
• Ensure resources meet business needs through theeffective management of working rotas
• Supportbrand standards through the training and assessment of yourteam
• Manage food cost controls to contributeto Food and Beverage revenue
• Knowledge ofactivities in other departments and implications
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safetystandards

• Strong Chef dePartie or previous Junior Sous Chef Experience
• Approaches food in a creative way
