Job Role: Reservations Supervisor

Due to the current VISARESTRICTIONS only candidates from within the UAE with a current UAEResidence Visa can be considered for thisvacancy 

AReservations Supervisor oversees the Reservations Team and how itperforms routine procedures in order to maximise revenue and Guestsatisfaction.

As Reservations Supervisor, youoversees the Reservations Team and how it performs routineprocedures in order to maximise revenue and Guest satisfaction. TheReservations Supervisor will work with the Reservations Team todevelop future and repeat business opportunities. Specifically, youwill be responsible for performing the following tasks to thehighest standards:

  • Assist in theday-to-day operations of the Reservations Department
  • Manage telephone, fax and email enquiries in a prompt andprofessional manner and in accordance with company standardsensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times
  • Understand seasonal and historical trends and work withinthem to ensure maximum occupancy and average room rates
  • Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respondto sales opportunities in order to maximise revenue
  • Produce quotations and written confirmation to allclients
  • Monitor customer satisfactionregularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure futurebusiness
  • Ensure Team Members are developedeffectively, maintain a thorough understanding of hotel facilitiesand processes, and generate a culture of high quality standards forrelationship building, customer service, selling techniques, andbilling and processing contracts
  • Ensurebookings are guaranteed and no show charges/late cancellationcharges are applied where appropriate; and Reservations policiesand procedures are followed to ensure Guest satisfaction
  • Monitor the appearance, standards and performance of theReservations Team with an emphasis on training andteamwork
  • Assist in the recruiting, managing,training and developing of the Reservation team

It would be advantageousin this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilitiesand distinctions:

  • Knowledge of thehotel property management systems
  • Previousexperience in the Reservations/Sales function within thehotel/leisure sector
  • Relevant degree or otherqualification in a business discipline
