AGroup, Conference, and Events (GCE) Sales Executive will maximiserevenue opportunities in the areas of group reservations,conferences and events by driving sales leads and increasingconversions.

As Group, Conference, and Events(GCE) Sales Executive, you will maximise revenue opportunities inthe areas of group reservations, conferences and events by drivingsales leads and increasing conversions. The GCandE Sales Executivewill interact frequently with Guests and customers with theintention of earning repeat and expanded business. Specifically, aGroup, Conference, and Events (GCE) Sales Executive will performthe following tasks to the highest standards:

• Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targetsand maximize revenue
• Manage an events scheduleto maximise yield
• Focus on a consistentlyexecuted up-selling approach
• Build strongrelationships with customers to fully understand theirneeds
• Arrange and carry out Hotel showrounds
• Ensure the complete administration andexecution of all planned events
• Participate inhotel promotional activities

Tosuccessfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude,behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

• Good organisational and administration skills
• Positive attitude and good communicationskills
• Commitment to delivering a high levelof customer service
• Confident telephonemanner
• High level of IT skills
• Excellent grooming standards
• Demonstrated previous experience working in a Salesenvironment

It would beadvantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the followingcapabilities and distinctions:

• Knowledge of the hotel property managementsystems
• Demonstrated previous experienceworking in the Conference and Events function
• Qualification, degree, or certification in a relevantfield
