We are currently looking for an experienced Accountant on a contract basis to join our team. Reporting of monthly management reports and forecasts from SAP to HFM, including liaising with our Corporate Accounting team to address queries / resolve issuesSupport with preparation of the statutory financial statements and the audits of UK entitiesMonitor and ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS), providing guidance and training to the wider businessPreparation & approval of balance sheet reconciliations, including responsibility to close out any identified discrepanciesAnalysis and rebilling of corporate charges to other Group companiesPerform monthly variance analysis, reviews & reporting of financial results to managementPreparation of monthly, quarterly & annual forecasting reports in close liaison with the functional managers Process routine month end journalsProvide assistance to internal customers in relation to compliance with Aker Solutions Accounting Principles and related ProceduresAny other tasks determined by managementProficient in MS Office Working knowledge of IFRSExperience in preparation of statutory accountsExperience using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and SAP (preferred)Ability to listen to positive and negative views and be able to influence and persuade others in decision making processesAbility to manage own workload to ensure responsibilities are completed in-line with Corporate timetablesProactive and flexible, quantitative and analytical skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills strong attention to detailAbility to assess and resolve problems in a timely mannerQualified accountant, or qualified by experience Professional services firm trained (preferred)SoftWare Skills Description: MS Office;Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) preferred;SAP preferredWith over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining, Automotive and Chemicals sectors worldwide.With more than 100 offices in 45 countries, we are able to provide our clients with the engineering and technical expertise they need, wherever and whenever it is needed.
