Job Title: HSE Engineer Location: London Salary: Attractive salary with competitive bonus scheme As part of our continued partnership with a global technology leader in carbon capture and CO2 separation, NES Fircroft are now looking to identify an experienced HSE Engineer, well versed in providing expert HSE support and to design, project delivery and operations, in similar engineering projects environment, within relevant downstream process industries. Their game-changing technologies target the removal of carbon dioxide from renewable natural gases and are being utilised by over 30 customers globally, with a rapidly expanding pipeline of global development and delivery to projects deploying CO2 separation technology into industrial and research facilities. As such, the HSE Engineer will be responsible for providing support for the design, installation, commissioning, and operations of their carbon capture plants globally, as well as safety guidance to the wider teams. The HSE Engineer will also be required to take ownership for the implementation of their HSE policy and site visit protocols for the UK team, while developing a deep knowledge of the HSE issues around the businesses technology and design processes. Ideal candidates will likely be from a chemical engineering, or similar technical engineering background, able to demonstrate Technical Safety Engineering experience working with EPCs & Operators, with good understanding of the technical, engineering and managerial issues fundamental to safety and risk management within the chemicals, oil & gas industry. Specifically, demonstrable hands-on experience of a wide range of hazard identification and risk assessments, such as HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, LOPA is essential, while a knowledge of ISO 45001 implementation, auditing and upkeep, is preferred.
