Location: King's Mountain, NC
Hours: 40 hours per week—some OT will be required.
Pay Range: $20-$30/hr. depending on experience.
Duration: Initial contract will last 4 months—high probability of the role being extended through 2022.

Job Details
Location: King's Mountain, NC
Hours: 40 hours per week—some OT will be required.
Pay Range: $20-$30/hr. depending on experience.
Duration: Initial contract will last 4 months—high probability of the role being extended through 2022.
Responsibilities
- Sets up and operates laboratory instruments to perform standardized testing in accordance to industry/ standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Can accurately perform integrations, explain analysis procedures to an evaluator, interrupt data, complete quality control checks.
- Conduct Sample Collection.
- Conduct Sample Analysis and data interpretation.
- Gas Chromatography.
- Physical testing-Saybolt Color, Copper Corrosion, Vapor pressure analysis.
- Shipping hazardous materials.
- Test purity products to ensure we meet customer specifications.
- Must have at least 1+ year of experience in a laboratory environment.
- Must have familiarity with sample collecting and sample analysis.
- Previous industry experience within the oil & gas or chemical laboratory space would be a big plus.
- A college degree in biology, chemistry, or other lab focused educational spaces would be a big plus.
- Candidates local to the King's Mountain, NC region are highly preferred. No per diem or relocation stipends offered to out of market candidates.
