Our client, an Operating Company, is currently seeking a number of Maintenance Specialist to help support with complex maintenance scopes for their producing FPSO's. Positions are available for both those with a Rotating Equipment Maintenance background or a broader multidiscipline Maintenance background.The role can be carried out from company offices in either Aberdeen or Surrey, and allows a degree of flexible working. The Maintenance and Reliability Discipline within the Production & Operations Entity is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all topsides and marine equipment with the ultimate goal of maximising plant reliability. Reporting to the Maintenance Specialist Discipline Leader, the Maintenance Specialist is a key role in the delivery of preventative and corrective maintenance campaigns as part of the regional maintenance programme. The Maintenance Specialists will be Single Point of Accountability (SPA) for medium to high complexity maintenance work within their assigned squad and will lead the end to end delivery of safety critical and business critical work. Accountabilities: 1. Lead the safe and efficient execution of maintenance activity in adherence to bp global Work Management and Activity Integration processes with a emphasis on execution readiness and right first time execution. Ensure work planning is completed to a high standard and seek feedback from key stakeholders both onshore and offshore. 2. Support their assigned team and the wider regional team to implement best practice in work preparation and execution. 3. Maximise value through the implementation of Agile working practices and prioritisation of tasks based on value to the business. 4. Manage the delivery of 3rd party vendors by setting clear standards for work quality and safe execution. Monitor progress and provide feedback as part of Quarterly Performance Reviews. 5. Regularly review and provide input into the Maintenance Build and Preventative Maintenance Strategies to improve quality and optimise delivery. Essential experienceDegree in relevant Engineering discipline or time served maintenance technician with significant site experience.Experience in delivering maintenance and/or turnaround activity in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical or Energy industries.Knowledge of work planning, safety management systems and process/marine equipment.Either experience in a Rotating Equipment Maintenance role or a broader Maintenance role - positions are available for both.
