Role Objectives:- The Plant Engineer reports to the Head of Engineering. Meet site safety standards. Meet regulatory and customer quality requirements relating to ISO9001, ISO14001 and cGMP as well as the requirements of cross contamination prevention. Ensure the manufacturing plan is achieved through optimised changeover activities and a reliable asset base Lead initiatives on site to deliver capacity improvements and cost savings Responsibilities:- Lead the deployment of strategies using techniques such as Criticality Assessment, Condition Based Monitoring, Preventive Maintenance Optimisation within the specific plant area(s) assigned. Plan and coordinate activities related to the design, construction and/or modification of plant equipment and unit operations Own the content and delivery of specific plant area(s), including but not limited to routine scheduled maintenance delivery, product changeover window and shutdown planning. First line technical support for the specific plant area Compliance with all statutory and company policy maintenance requirements Undertake Root Cause Analyses for the specific operational area(s) Data analytics, ability to understand raw plant data, leading to proposal and execution of projects to improve reliability Contribute to projects as plant representative, including ensuring all safety, reliability and maintenance engineering aspects are considered for equipment lifecycle Key Performance Indicators:- Production plan performance Equipment availability Assets with planned maintenance strategy in place Capital and revenue budget adherence Core Skills/Competencies:- Degree qualified Eng in a technical discipline.
