Our Client is looking for a Procurement manager on a staff basis, who will support and drive the team to deliver current and future projects. What you will be doing ? Establish and maintain an overall procurement strategy and management plan for the project which is aligned with our overall corporate strategies Ensure commercial performance throughout all activities and seek commercial opportunities with relevant stakeholders Manage the planning, start-up, execution and close-out of the procurement process defined for the project Mobilize and develop the procurement team and promote team building in cooperation with resource owners Ensure that working methods are established to allow for efficient and controlled performance of all activities Ensure compliance with Aker Solutions' Policy for Supply Chain in all procurement activitie Manage procurement cost, schedule and manpower within budgets and baselines Manage and coordinate interfaces towards all project disciplines, management and customers Report and manage procurement risks What you should have: A relevant higher education degree Significant experience within project procurement/project management, preferably from the energy industry Extensive skills within project management Multi-discipline understanding and a commercial mindset Solid understanding of customer needs A team-player attitude Solid communication and presentation skills Solid command of the English language, both written and spoken High professional and personal integrity standards Flexibility and ability to travelWith over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining, Automotive and Chemicals sectors worldwide.With more than 100 offices in 45 countries, we are able to provide our clients with the engineering and technical expertise they need, wherever and whenever it is needed.
