They are now recruiting for a Senior Network Engineer to join their team. You will be joining a well-established company currently enjoying a period of massive growth.
In this senior position your responsibilities will include:
* Maintain integrity of the network
* Determine system requirements for company projects
* In collaboration with infrastructure team, design internal network
* Evaluate and maintain network performance
* Support company network and security systems
* Install hardware and administer Switches, Firewalls, Routers, Proxys
* Assign routing table configurations and routing protocols
* Maintain VPN gateways, IDS / IPS systems
* Ensure connectivity via LAN / WAN infrastructure
* Isolate and report technical issues as they arise
Ideally you will have relevant educational background and expertise in some of the following:
* CCNP certified and relevant technical degree
* 3+ years' experience in a medium / large scale network
* Solid knowledge of Firewalls, Routing / Tunneling Protocols
* Expertise working with F5, TCP / IP, VLAN, HSRP, LACP, SNMP, Wireshark, Netflow, SolarWinds or similar
* Knowledge of LINUX, Squid, NGINX
* Prior experience working in a 24/7, multi-site, multi-vendor environment

This role is based at our client's HQ in Dundalk, Co Louth although some element of remote work will be possible.
