The
Heriot-Watt University is inviting applications from highly motivated UK/EU
students who have a desire to work in the Power Industry. The university is
offering SP Energy Networks Scholarships within the School of Engineering and
Physical Sciences.
Heriot-Watt
University is a public university based in Edinburgh, Scotland. It was
established in 1821 as the world’s first mechanics’ institute. It has campuses
in the Scottish Borders, Orkney, Dubai, and Putrajaya in Malaysia.
Applicants
whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of
proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.

Eligibility:
University is looking to sponsor highly motivated students who have a desire to
work in the Power Industry and have:
• Completed a minimum of the first
year of their Degree/Masters
• Are studying for a MEng or BEng
Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering, EEE or a Degree with an
Electrical component.
• Are EU citizens or have a permanent
right to work in the UK after graduation.
Nationality:
UK/EU students are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.

Requirements: Applicants must have completed a minimum of the first year of
their Degree/Masters.
English
Language Requirement: If you have not already studied a degree programme that
was taught and examined in the medium of English we require evidence of
language proficiency. For IELTS: the minimum overall IELTS score is 6.5 with no
score lower than 6.0 in Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening.
