As part of the newly created Real Estate New Construction team, you will contribute to creating a new scalable product solution from the ground up, using the latest available technologies to solve operational needs from both Real Estate Developers and users alike. The ambitious project will be scaled across multiple Schibsted markets worldwide. Based on Barcelona, you will work in a highly dynamic environment within a brand new and talented team.
Responsibilities
Work in a multi-disciplinary team, and help to build a responsive SPA
Creation of UI components using React
Help and contribute in the applications architecture definition
Be creative and experiment with new solutions but pragmatic and committed to code optimization, maintainability, and quality
Work with product owners and designers to prioritise and own features
Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scale. Support diverse clients from high end desktop computers to mobile devices
Main requirements
Excellent experience in web development for both desktop and mobile platforms
Expert in HTML5 and CSS3. Sass or any equivalent CSS pre-processor (less, nextCss, stylus)
Good knowledge of JavaScript. In time, you should become a JS expert
Experience with React or any javascript MVC framework
Use of dev-tools (profiling and debugging)
GIT
Experience with Agile methodologies
High comfort level working in a multi-disciplinary team
Understanding of web performance
Good level of English (working language)
Nice to have
Strong knowledge of javascript
Use of ES6 syntax, including async new features
Knowledge of functional programming and OOP with its common design patterns
Tools and libraries like Babel, Webpack and Redux
