The Bosch unit in Aveiro belongs to the Thermotechnology division and manages the global business unit of residential water. Job Description
Your contribution to something big:
Define the architecture of an IoT back-end application based on the requirements defined by the Product Owner
Specify interfaces to other web applications and clients
Implement business logic components as well as persistence and REST APIs
Support the cloud backend operation and administration
Introduce new technologies like microservices, big data and analytics solutions
Design for reliability, security, scalability, extensibility, performance and re-use
Main requirements
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related subject
3+ years of experience in similar functions
Proficiency in Java, Spring, Hibernate ORM, REST, and experience in software architecture/design and web backend development (SOA, OOD, J2EE, UML)
Knowledge in Web & IT security
Ability to work in an international team environment
Team player for efficient collaborative working style
Pro-active, dynamic and responsible attitude
Willingness to travel to Germany
Good communication skills, and fluency in English.
Nice to have Knowledge or experience with SQL, Cassandra, Nginx, Jetty, OpenVPN, XMPP, Data mining and machine learning
