Content Editor (Blogs) – Contract
Insureon, an industry leader in online small business insurance, is seeking a content editor to join our content marketing team in Campbell, CA. This role is a six-month contract position with the opportunity to extend, open to candidates based in the Bay Area or working remotely.

About the Position
We’re looking for an experienced editor to help launch and drive our content strategy for blogs, partnership content, and other content marketing assets. This is an opportunity for a passionate storyteller to have an immediate impact on Insureon’s new and existing customers — thousands of small businesses across the United States.
The successful candidate will work closely with Insureon’s content marketing, SEO, and design team leaders to create and execute a plan for scaling our blog strategy. Previous experience managing content at an e-commerce or digital media company is preferred.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
• Managing blog content strategy
• Managing contract and in-house content creators
• Developing new ideas for content initiatives
• Tracking metrics to meet KPIs
• Editing and writing blog posts and articles
• Researching and managing special projects
The ideal candidate will have some experience with:
• Blogging
• Content management systems
• Editing and copywriting
• SEO
• Digital publishing
• E-commerce
• Project management
• AP Style
