Embertank LLC / Kiss Books is looking for a new DevOps Engineer/SysAdmin to oversee our servers and systems. This role is for someone who loves technology and will work with other team members to build meaningful products that solve problems and bring value to our end-users. At Kiss we value intentional relationship and are looking for someone who can join with and contribute to our small team.
- Amazon AWS – specifically S3, EC2 & ECS
- Amazon RDS / mySQL and noSQL database management (MongoDB)
- Linux / Unix administration and networking
- Docker
- Continuous Delivery
- DNS
- Github
- Physical servers
- Tape backups
- Shell scripting You must have a working knowledge of the elements within our application stacks:
- PHP
- Node.js
- React.js
Responsibilities
Standard work – Up to 8 hours per week On-call
Key Performance Indicators
At work within 1 hour of emergencies, M-F 8-5 ET At work within 3 hours of emergencies all other times Pro-active security analysis, updates Pro-active improvements to the server and system performance and architecture Works with Director of Technology and other stakeholders to accomplish team goals in a timely and professional manner Writes documentation for existing infrastructure
