Link is a software engineering company from Barcelona specialized in technology applied to urban services. We develop beautiful products (APPs, Platforms, Bluetooth sensors) so that City Councils can manage and analyse all the data from urban services like waste collection or street cleaning.
Our mission is to help cities improve urban services through technology and citizen's participation. Urban services play a key role in the fabric of a city and have a very direct impact on the well-being of people. We help City Managers so they can run them in a more sustainable and efficient way.
With our products we also change the way citizens interact with their services, to involve them in waste collection and make them more aware of their contribution to improve their city and its environment.

We are looking for a Back-end Developer that has:

As part of our team you will:
Be part of a team of four people that develops, implements and maintains web platforms and mobile applications
Will evolve and maintain our current platform and design and execute new product development plans based on market and customer needs. You will keep your ear to the ground to incorporate industry best practices to our tool and develop innovative products
Use agile methodologies. alongside the team, you will select and define the company's software development methodology. Establish language and architecture for future products. Management of development environments. Documenting and communicating changes in databases and operating patterns
We are currently changing from a monolithic structure to microservices architecture and are about to introduce Scala as a language, if that is something that you would like to do and learn you will have consultancy and constant training from experts.
Main requirements
A bachelor's degree in computer science or similar
At least 3 years of Back-end Development experience (Symphony)
Knowledge of Microservices architecture
Knowledge of MySQL
Nice to have Willingness to learn and work with Node.js and Scala
