Role:
We are looking to contract with the best of the best when it comes to Content Writing. We want experienced writers who have been knee-deep in the professional SEO and blog-writing world in order to expand our extended family and amplify our already amazing group of P1People.
Because our client list falls into a wide range of subjects, the right person for this contract must have a desire to learn about various industries and topics, and then relay that information in writing for an equally wide range of target audiences. Although creativity is important, the ability to follow instruction and pay attention to detail is just as vital when it comes to following the guidelines that come with each assignment.
While we work in a number of topical niches, we are specifically seeking out writers who are familiar with the world of technology and can naturally write on topics regarding IT, AI, automation, block chain, cyber security, etc. This position will allow for a range of niches to write in, but a knowledge in and ability to write about technology topics such as these is important.
Examples of topics include:
- Empowering IT Staff During Covid-19
- How Augmented Reality Benefits Businesses and Engages Consumers
- Trends in AI & Machine Learning
Expectations:
- Must be a native English speaker.
- Meet and take responsibility for clearly-stated deadlines.
- Pay attention to detail, follow process instructions.
- Regularly provide professional, optimized, organic online content.
- Possess excellent editorial skills producing articles free of spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors.
- Flourish in an environment that is dependent upon written communication.
- Work well independently, as well as collaboratively with copy editors when provided written feedback.
Skills Needed:
- Must have previous, verifiable writing experience, specifically in the range of creating organic content for the web (blog posts, newsjacks, informational content, etc.)
- Proficiency in Google Suite, such as Google Docs, Sheets, etc.
- Experience with Asana preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work within specific topic confines and listed restrictions.
- Ability/flexibility in written skill to make two unrelated topics work well together.
Compensation/Employment type:
Individuals are hired on a remote contractor status. Compensation is awarded in the range of $.08-$.10 per word as determined in the company assignment platform.
