Within PACCAR Inc. the Embedded Engineering is thecenter for development of embedded systems in the truck for bothpowertrain and vehicle domains. The verification group isresponsible for the design and development of test proceduresrequired to determine if the product works as expected before it isdelivered to the customer. Software Test Engineer The software testengineer is active in the verification and validation of thesoftware and applications running on the embedded systems. Testscope includes functional testing, platform testing, networkmanagement and diagnostics. The test designs are made against therequirements set for the relevant system. The test cases aremanaged in HP QualityCenter. The tests execution is carried out onhardware-in-the-loop systems. You work in a multi-cultural,multi-disciplinary and highly dynamic environment for variousprojects. You cooperate daily with the verification engineers andon a frequent basis with project development stakeholders, such assoftware and hardware engineers and project lead engineers. Youreport to the Supervisor of the Verification group within theVerification & Support department. Please note for thisposition, you need to be able to start on the 15th of February atDAF Trucks. Qualifications and requirements: Technical education onBachelor/Master level in Mechanics, Automotive, Electronics,Computer Science or comparable Knowledge of embedded softwaredesign processes (according the V-cycle) Experience in embeddedsoftware testing (minimum of 2-3 years of test experience)Knowledge of test techniques (test certificate, ISTQB is an asset)Experience with requirement management Experience with HPQualityCenter Experience in test automation Good problem solvingand debugging skills Understanding of Matlab/Simulink Knowledge ofmodel-based design techniques is preferred Experience withscrum/agile is a plus You are available on a short notice (nosponsorship can be arranged for candidates outside EU) We offer youthe first/next step in your care...
