Our client, a large oil and gas operator, is seeking an SAP Application Developer for a contract role in Calgary.
Description:
Core Responsibilities: SAP ABAP Developer delivering applications programming and analysis tasks as part of a system development process and enhancements for our internal business partners. Apply subject matter knowledge in SAP technologies specifically SAP PPM ands PS modules to solve a variety of common business issues. Duties: Manages complex and/or multiple projects and is considered a Subject Matter Expert in key areas who has the ability to influence others. May oversee technical aspects of project execution to ensure alignment with business goals. Develop and document software based on a defined set of design and performance requirements, adhering to processes defined by the Technical Lead and Solution Architect. Provide estimates of work effort. Proactively provide ideas to improve proposed solutions. Actively participate in SAP application design and solution architecture. Actively participate in code walkthroughs/inspections as per the software development process and Quality Management Plan. Prepare sample data and unit test plans. Troubleshoot and corrects complex bugs or issues (including performance issues). Develop and execute unit and integration tests as per the project plan. Assist in the set up and execution of demonstrations as required. Align all work effort with the project schedule/work plan.
Skills required:
̢ۢ Experience within SAP PPM and PS
̢ۢ Strong Development and Organizational skills
̢ۢ Team sense of team, independently work Scheduling, Planning, Execution and Tracking
̢ۢ 3+ Implementations of SAP PPM by working on the development team
̢ۢ Web DynPro
̢ۢ FPM (Floor Plan Manager)
̢ۢ BOPF knowledge
Nice to have skills
1.Experienced in SAP UI5/Fiori technology
2. Understand business processes and gap analysis, business process re-engineering, process integration and mapping, designing, functional specification prototyping, testing, training, and cut-over and change management activities.
3. SAP PPM configuration experience is a Plus
