Job Summary

This position provides business analysis support for the newly formed Business Development Partnerships organization, to include support as needed for projects and/or operational process development and Business Development Partnership recruitment, support and relationship management. This could include analyzing, regional planning, individual contributor support, cross-departmental team engagement, business case development, training development and delivery and other tasks as needed. This includes support for all technical and non-technical initiatives. It is accountable to develop and execute comprehensive business requirements, business plans, training procedures, partner onboarding and integration, change management and communication plans with other members of Sales and Relationship Management (and extended) organization to deliver strategic business results. Conducts process reviews and partner needs (existing and future) with key stakeholders/sponsors to identify and make recommendations on best practices or process improvement areas. Utilizes fundamental project management disciplines to implement approved and prioritized key initiatives. This position builds and maintains strong working relationships with partners and other key stakeholders across the organization. Works to ensure continuous process improvements/business excellence. Works with Change Management to ensure project and process enhancements are fully adopted to achieve desired results. This position supports an organization that works with key stakeholders at all levels, including supervisors and management in the Sales & Relationship Management organization across jurisdictions to achieve targeted growth strategies, goals, objectives, and change integration initiatives.

Responsibilities

85%: Supports Regional Sales Managers and Business Developers through development and growth of Business Development Partnerships

* Contribute directly to revenue and profit goal attainment by supporting closure of partner generated opportunities
* Provides support, through project origination from Business Development Partners, in support of Regional Sales Plans
* Execute established partner Strategy and Process in strategic regions with an initial focus on the Northeast and Gulf regions
* Leverage existing business relationships to advance BD Partnerships
* Develop and maintain active online presence leveraging LinkedIN and other social platforms to advance DESS organizational initiatives
* Works to achieve fundamental project management or process analysis disciplines to implement key business initiatives
* Integrate Duke Energy Sustainable Solutions sales process into our partner interactions to ensure alignment and proper engagement with Business Development and the customer
* Assists in the implementation of improvement initiatives that deliver excellent customer service, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty
* As needed, runs business queries required to perform business analytics
* Collaborates & communicates effectively with Key Segment Management, Demand Generation, Engineering teams, Structuring, Legal and subject matter experts to build comprehensive business requirements that ensure thorough vetting and marketing of DESS solutions and services.
* Support the development of training curriculum and calendar to educate regional BD teams on partner best practices and
* Supports corporate business continuity and storm response for Customer Services as needed
* Supports benchmarking initiatives as needed

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree
* In addition to required degree, 1 plus year of related work experience
* In lieu of Bachelor's degree(s) AND 1 plus year(s) related work experience listed above, High School/GED AND 5 plus year(s) related work experience

* Masters degree

Additional Preferred Qualifications

* Demonstrated leadership and relationship management skills

* Training and/or experience in large scale energy project developmentand partner management throughout the development process.

* Demonstrated expertise and experience with C-Suite interactions and presentation skills

* Proficient in MS Office products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Access, Teams, etc.

* External partner management experience with existing energy relationship (particularly in the Northeast or Gulf regions)

* Demonstrated ability to drive change in the organization at both strategic and operational levels

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Specific Requirements

* Demonstrated written and oral communication skills

* Experience in establishing and nurturing sales partnerships

* Ability to learn quickly and apply learnings on the spot

* Demonstrated success in year-over-year sales growth with partners as measured by top line pipeline revenue and annual gross profit target attainment

* Commitment to support individual contributors and their relationship with channel partners

* Experience working within a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders

* Experience working with diverse teams requiring strong collaborative, negotiating and multi-tasking skills
