Job Title: Operational Trainer Location: Middlesbrough Rate/Salary: Negotiable Residency: UK The Role: To continually improve the standard of operational training across the organisation such that all operators are trained to the appropriate standard and are competent across their whole job role. Ensure that all Environment, Health & Safety requirements are met including (but not limited to) ensuring all training material adheres to site safety procedures. Design and delivery of on-the-job training for production operators as necessary, including developing assessments that test both practical skills and underpinning knowledge. Design and delivery of trainee workshops to support the new trainees to ensure they are competent within 12 – 18 months Design, delivery and recording of the work-based element of the Production Apprenticeship programme, ensuring it meets the required standards. Working with the Training Manager to monitor training activities across the site ensuring compliance with internal procedures and adherence to budget Deliver effective induction programmes for all new starters Deliver one to one and small group refresher training for existing operators Work with the Training Manager to deliver operator development programmes to drive skill improvement Keep up to date with developments in training techniques ensuring training material remains current and relevant Undertake any other duties of which the responsibility, skill and experience required fall within a post holder's expected capability and commensurate with the post holder's position in the company.
