Job Title: IP Director Location: London Salary: Attractive salary with competitive bonus scheme & Equity Options As part of our continued partnership with a global technology leader in carbon capture and CO2 separation, NES Fircroft are now looking to identify an established IP Director, well versed in the development and execution of Intellectual Property strategy, by optimizing and growing patent portfolio, within a relevant technology development environment. Their game-changing technologies target the removal of carbon dioxide from renewable natural gases and are being utilised by over 30 customers globally, with a rapidly expanding pipeline of global development and delivery to projects deploying CO2 separation technology into industrial and research facilities, with continued investment into next generation technologies and new applications within their portfolio. As such, the IP Director will be required to collaboratively with the R&D and Legal Counsel to create and lead a comprehensive and protected IP portfolio & developing the strategy for the IP roadmap, which allows the business to develop a competitive advantage through intangible assets. Ideal candidates will likely have a grounding in technical engineering, able to demonstrate a track-record of managing the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, having taken ownership for a significant intellectual property portfolio, ideally in a similar fast-paced, global team environment, In addition, outstanding communication skills, attention to detail & commercial acumen are key softer skills required, able to draw on technical foundations to liaise with internal technical teams to extract innovation & ideas to assess the patentability of new innovations.
