Planning Engineer- Carbon Capture Technologies- London (Staff) NES are delighted to be continuing their partnership with an innovative and rapidly emerging leader in carbon dioxide separation technology, for industrial and gas treating applications, as the drive towards more sustainable technologies in industry gathers momentum. Having proven the success of their technology on a commercial scale, the business continues through an exciting phase of their development, having recently secured investment from a number of strategic investors, that count some of the most globally identifiable names in the energy industry. As they enter the stage of rapid commercialisation, customer growth and international scaling, they are now looking to build an exceptional Project Delivery team to support the business and customers. Amongst a number of new hires identified to support their project pipeline, includes that of a Planning Engineer, responsible for the development and monitoring of time related activities for carbon capture projects, supporting Project Teams in assessing and reporting the health of projects and providing substantiated predictability on forecast dates. As such, the ideal candidate will be able to point to:Industry experience in an engineering project environment, with a preference for process industries knowledge (Chemicals, Oil and Gas or similar) within project execution and deliveryExperience working with Project Managers, Sales and Engineering teams to fully capture scope, plan and sequence work to create logically linked schedules.Highly experienced with scheduling systems (P6, MSP).Experience with schedule resource and cost loading.In addition, the successful candidate must also be enthusiastic about operating within a fast growing “start-up” company environment and keen to assist with the development of systems and solutions during the build and develop phases that the company are undertaking.
