Job Title: Sales Applications Engineer EU Location: UK Salary: Attractive salary with competitive bonus scheme As part of our continued partnership with a global technology leader in carbon capture and CO2 separation, NES Fircroft are now looking to identify an experienced Sales Applications Engineer, well versed in leading technical proposal development activities, to support a wide-range of customers across a variety of process industries, across Europe. Their game-changing technologies target the removal of carbon dioxide from renewable natural gases and are being utilised by over 30 customers globally, with a rapidly expanding pipeline of global development and delivery to projects deploying CO2 separation technology into industrial and research facilities. As such, the Sales Applications Engineer will be responsible for working closely with Territory Directors, completing pre-sale technical requirement assessments, and producing specific statement of works tailored to each qualified prospect's needs, to develop cost effective solutions that integrate technologies, solvents, and systems to decarbonize industrial sites. You will provide technical sales support, by co-ordinating technical deliverables with EPC's, Equipment Vendors and End-Users, while you will also provide process simulation support by developing gas treating simulations in ProTreat, ProMax and Aspen software. Ideal candidates will therefore likely be from a chemical engineering, with a background in natural gas treating, environmental emissions, refining/petrochemicals, or renewable natural gas, with strong commercial acumen- able to demonstrate strong relationship building skills, with an agile and hands-on approach to managing technical customer inquiries, while an existing knowledge of process simulation tools would be an advantage.
