Senior Solutions Architect Essentials:- Have a strong background in Finance and HR Cloud based Platforms (this must be visible within your CV), tools to support a business critical transformation programme. Agile. Market review of appropriate platforms and assessment of the strategic fit with the domain and IT technology strategy. Create a roadmap that maps out the vision and plan for the new Finance and HR platform. Experience of vendor selection processes and practices for finance and HR solutions. Delivery focussed.

My Pulbic Sector client urgently requires a Solutions Architect with strong Finance and HR experience, they are embarking on a major piece of work to replace their Finance and HR platforms, technologies and tools to support a business-critical transformation programme.

Specific Solution Architecture expertise in Finance and HR cloud-based platforms and agile methods will be required. The focus will be the market review of appropriate platforms and assessment of the strategic fit with the domain and IT technology strategy.

Senior Solution Architect Role and responsibilities:

• Work with key stakeholders to define an appropriate architectural vision for future Finance and HR platform
• Review the market and recommend a new Finance and HR platform, tools and technologies appropriate to the business strategy
• Create a roadmap that maps out the vision and plan for the new Finance and HR platform.
• Play the key architectural role in the identification of new, innovative software features to support new ways of working across Finance and HR domain
• Ensure that all proposed solutions meet business, information, application and technology needs

Senior Solution Architect Skills and Experience:

• Significant experience in a Solutions Architect role in an Agile environment
• Detailed knowledge of Finance and HR domains
• Experience of vendor selection processes and practices for finance and HR solutions
• A delivery-focused approach is essential

This is a senior role which will require the ability to communicate complex architectural plans and strategies to a wide variety of audiences so your communications skills must be strong. The ability to oversee delivery, inspire your colleagues/peers and manage architecture workload with clear priorities will also be needed.
