NES Fircroft is delighted to be supporting their key Oilfield client, with 3 x Electrical Assembler, permanent roles based in Gloucester. Ideally, we are looking for individuals who are competent at soldering, crimping and general wiring skills, as well as detecting workmanship issues of downhole electronics equipment and processes. In addition to having this type of experience, our client is looking for someone who is IPC certified (IPC 620 and J-Std preferred).Key responsibilities and tasks:Takes ownership of and supports Lean and 5S improvements.Independently performs self-assessments and understands metricsDevelops insights into 5S improvements, capable of realizing improvementsAbility to apply basic arithmetic operations, compute ratio and rate, percentage, fractions and ratios, and calculate weights and measures- also Imperial to Metric conversionsUnder zero supervision, performs all Electronic Assembler dutiesFollows routings and records test measurements on PC based systemObserves and reports non-conformances when detected.
