We are currently looking for a experienced Senior Project Engineer / Task Lead for a major brownfield project.Understand strategic aspect of the project in order to implement optimum approachResponsible for the delivery of cost estimates and schedule to client as part of the work approval processWorking with Hub (Senior Project Engineers / Task Leads / Focal Points) to ensure on time deliveryResponsible for the execution of work in line with the agreed schedule and budgetsAgreement of, and delivery of the Contract (eg. Ensure Gate Readiness is achieved in line with requirements)Responsible for maintaining plans, schedules and progress reportsManage scope costs and ensure that delivery is within the approved budgetLiaise with the Client Representatives Interface with delivery team on and offshore to ensure delivery is undertaken in line with the approved planIdentification of Risks and propose mitigating solutions and key driver for implementationEnsure Project Kick-off meetings, are recorded along with distribution of minutes within 24 hoursIdentification of project cost savings to the contract management teamInterface with IVB where required for verification activitiesIdentify innovative and lean methods of working to drive continual improvement on the contractEnsure that the work entry and change process are implementedTimely identification of any Change requests and ensure the AKiMS tracker is kept up to date on a weekly basisIn depth understanding of the Offshore Oil & Gas IndustryPrevious Project Engineering experience working with multi-discipline teamsBroad understanding of the key engineering disciplinesStrong understanding of the capabilities of the key engineering systems and tools in operation within the upstream Oil & Gas IndustryAbility to manage project plans from initiation through to completion Ability to manage project costsDegree essential and Chartered preferredWith over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining, Automotive and Chemicals sectors worldwide.With more than 100 offices in 45 countries, we are able to provide our clients with the engineering and technical expertise they need, wherever and whenever it is needed.
