This position is on the Distributed Energy Solutions Sales Enablement Team. It provides sales enablement and operational effectiveness in a fast-paced culture servicing commercial, industrial and institutional accounts, both inside and outside the Duke Energy regulated service territory. Responsibilities include business analysis and project management support to deploy effective processes and technologies, development and delivery of training, and general sales process support to achieve team goals. This position develops and monitors the implementation of change management and communication plans to ensure initiatives are effectively deployed, and fully adopted to achieve desired results. It builds and maintains strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure continuous process improvements/business excellence.

Basic/Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 3 plus years work related experience OR
GED/HS and 7 plus years work related experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities
50% Support Project Management and Change Initiatives
- Provides business analysis and project management support for analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and implementing business process improvement initiatives
- Develops well documented business cases, perform statistical analysis, cost benefit analysis, and other financial or business process analysis
- Facilitates sessions with diverse teams across the organization to achieve project objectives.
- Identifies best practices or process improvement opportunities.
- Maintains knowledge and executes fundamental project management disciplines to implement key business initiatives
- Supports team in the development and the execution of annual strategic business plan that aligns with fiscal and capital budgets.
- Engages and communicates effectively with fellow employees and key stakeholders in identifying opportunities that positively impact company financials by leveraging resources, processes, and technologies
- As needed, develops and runs business queries required to perform complex business analytics
- Collaborates extensively with IT business partners and operations subject matter experts to build comprehensive business requirements that ensure thorough development of technical design specifications and creates IT work tickets or requests as needed.
- Monitors technology innovations for CRM applications, sales enablement technologies, sales training methodologies and tools.
- Tracks, reports and analyzes key performance indicators

- Provides input for strategies and goals as requested by the leadership team, communicating sound vision and perspective
- Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure their expectations are achieved and issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Maintains effective communications and working relationships with other groups and departments to support successful project design, implementation and adoption of new processes and initiatives
