SUMMARY: The Safety Manager provides support by coordinating project activities related to large scale renewable projects including solar, wind and repowered wind power. The Safety Manager's main duties are to ensure the safety and efficiency of each project from start to finish through clear communication to all parties involved.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As Safety Manager you will perform periodic Project contractor and subcontractor safety and documentation audits, inspections & assessments that ensure compliance with all applicable Health & Safety & Environmental regulations and our H&S contractual requirements
- Deliver (on/off site) technical and safety management support of solar renewables projects
- Maintain H&S records, H&S metrics including analysis and trending as required by corporate safety organization including collecting contractor data monthly
- Actively identify, track, report and assist with the management of all critical risks, issues and impacts of the project.
- Coordinate environmental spill cleanup, removal and disposal with contractors to requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study
- 3 years' experience in the health & safety field (or a combination of both, equivalent to 10 years' total experience) on a utility scale solar projects
- Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards including OSHA Construction and Generation, Transmission and Distribution standards, and applicable EPA standards.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers and contractors.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently.
- Must be in the US
